Rescue story
WEACT received a report that dogs were being neglected in a shed in Mungyeong. The previous owner was ignorant of the importance of sterilization and failed to provide proper care. Due to uncontrolled breeding, there was overpopulation. The dogs were standing in their own feces, barely surviving on contaminated water and food. It took three separate trips to rescue a total of 48 dogs, and #weact_milla was one of the survivors to finally take a step outside the dreadful shed.

Personality
¡°I¡¯m scared, but there are so many things I want to know!¡±

Milla, who is easily frightened, tends to take her time getting used to unfamiliar environments instead of exploring them right away. However, she¡¯s not the one to sit still! She¡¯ll spend some time in her safe spot, and once she¡¯s ready, she¡¯ll start exploring and sniffing around to satisfy her curiosity. Milla finds external noises, such as passing cars or creaking floors, unfamiliar and scary, but she still loves going for walks! She enjoys listening to the stories the wind brings from distant places. Due to her limited experience with humans, Milla is uncertain about how to react to human touch. But with the constant love from her foster family, she¡¯s gradually adapting to it. Milla is overcoming her fears and making remarkable strides in broadening her world.

With humans
If Milla becomes curious about a new person, she may approach them to sniff, but due to her shy nature, she¡¯s generally hesitant to greet them. She used to struggle with human touch, but with the support of her foster family, she now allows them to touch her head! Milla is taking her time to build trust with people, so please wait and allow her to approach you when she feels comfortable.

With dogs
Milla feels very awkward when she¡¯s with other dogs. With the guidance of a gentle friend, our smart girl can easily pick up the proper way to greet and interact with them.

With cats
Milla has never met a cat.

Energy level
Milla is well-behaved during walks and requires a minimum of two walks a day. As she doesn¡¯t require a lot of exercise, it¡¯s recommended to take her on several short walks each day instead of one long walk. Milla is afraid of outside sounds, so it may be more comfortable for her to go on a walk during quieter times or when there are fewer people around.

Shedding/Barking
Milla sheds and doesn¡¯t bark much, but this may change depending on the environment she¡¯s in.

Needs help with
It takes some time for Milla to get used to outside noises such as passing cars or unfamiliar people and places. Rather than rushing her, please be patient and let her explore at her own pace. Due to her limited exposure to people, Milla may find human touch unfamiliar or even scary. Providing her with the necessary training can help her adjust.

Health specifics
Milla has given birth before; she was a wonderful mother who protected her babies in challenging situations. She is in excellent health with no medical issues.

Ideal family
It would be wonderful if Milla¡¯s new family could accommodate her need to adjust to new environments slowly. Because she¡¯s easily frightened by sudden movements and sounds, a serene and quiet home without young children would be best. Milla tries to document the moments in her daily life despite her fears. As she walks on her four dainty paws, she occasionally pauses to inhale the scents carried on the wind and take in the beauty of her surroundings. Take advantage of the calm early morning, the radiant midday sky, and the stunning starry night by taking her on brief walks several times a day. Milla will help you cherish the small moments in life that often go unnoticed. She is currently replacing her old memories with joyful ones. Milla is waiting for a forever family who can accompany her with courage as she ventures into the world and provide constant support!
