Rescue story
After receiving a tip about five abandoned dogs and the remains of another, WEACT went to a breeding facility in Ilpae-dong, Namyangju. It had been two years since our last visit, but the place appeared frozen in time, hardly different from before. The dogs' lives hadn't improved at all, suffering from neglect as the local authorities turned a blind eye. They were left to scavenge for food in constant hunger and forced into continuous breeding and birthing cycles. When the breeder became aware of our rescue attempt, he tried to secretly relocate the dogs under the cover of night. During this process, we also discovered and saved additional mother dogs and their pups hidden in nearby vacant lots, neighboring yards, and even inside homes. Through persistent persuasion and negotiation, we finally convinced the unscrupulous breeder to give up ownership. With the assistance of the KK9 organization, we successfully rescued all the dogs in the breeder¡¯s possession. Among them was #weact_churro, who was finally able to escape the harrowing world of a breeding operation driven by human green and embrace a new life.

Personality
"Aren't I the prettiest? That treat's all mine. Love only me. Everything's mine!"

This is Churro speaking from the heart, a little ____expression____ she makes when she hasn't had someone to keep her safe and show her enough love. However, since living a stable life in The Home, she has transformed into a highly sociable dog. Churro loves playing with friends so much that she jumps around and engages harmoniously with minimal conflict. Perhaps this outgoing and amicable nature in forming relationships might have been Churro's original self. If she becomes overly excited at times, this can be controlled by the guardian displaying a calm demeanor by her side. Given Churro's limited home experience, acclimating her to various home situations, helping her become comfortable around people, and introducing her to the outside world would be beneficial. With your love, Churro will learn quickly.

With humans
Churro's favorites are the attention and smiles of people! While expressing interest and affection to people, she may become quite excited. In such cases, it's particularly helpful to maintain a calm and stable attitude around her.

With dogs
Churro gets along well with other dogs and can share living space with them. She has a lot of energy and enjoys running and playing together. When playing with her best friend, #weact_byeorri, she looks like the happiest dog in the world. When Churro socializes with other dogs, it's better to create an environment where they can interact freely, rather than the guardian actively participating in the play. It's best to observe from the side and intervene when necessary.

With cats
Churro hasn't met or lived with cats before.

Energy level
Churro has a high energy level, so one walk a day might not be enough. To prevent her from getting bored, it's important to provide a variety of experiences. It would be great to take her to a safe dog park often for leash-free playtime.

Shedding/Barking
Churro doesn't shed much, and she might bark occasionally in response to external stimuli.

Needs help with
Because Churro dislikes kennels, she hasn't fully embraced kennel training yet. However, she's been getting the hang of wearing a leash. Due to her strong desire to be around people, please provide ways to help her feel comfortable when alone in order to prevent separation anxiety. Churro has a strong appetite and can become very excited. Instead of simply indulging her, it would be better to guide her towards remaining calm and being responsive to her guardian's emotions.

Health specifics
Churro is in good health! Nevertheless, considering her breed, it's important to remain vigilant about her patella.

Ideal family
Churro's past has been filled with a lack of love , despite her yearning for attention from people. We hope her new family can fill the void of the love she lacked. Given her rescue background and temperament, it¡¯s imperative to welcome her displays of affection without dismissing them as bothersome. Churro absolutely loves playing with other dogs and would be even happier in a family with a resident dog that's a good match for her. She's not a fan of being alone, so it would be wonderful if family members could spend a good portion of their day with her. And during those times of solitude, giving her some reassurance that everything's alright would make a big difference. Churro eagerly anticipates meeting her family and giving them all her love!
