Rescue story
In the summer of 2023, WEACT headed to a breeding facility in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do upon receiving a report. Despite having official government approval, the scene was more distressing than anything we had witnessed before. It was filled with severe abuse, illicit euthanizations, unauthorized c-section procedures, and other unlawful practices. Dogs with ruptured eyes, injured limbs, and such severe emaciation that they were in a state of shock were discovered. These unfortunate dogs had endured continuous breeding within cramped cages, with their lives disregarded, devoid of any compassion. Drawing from the evidence gathered at the scene and the tips we had received, WEACT confirmed the harrowing act of using a box cutter to open a mother dog's belly to extract the puppies. We also uncovered a freezer containing over 100 dog carcasses wrapped in newspaper. When the freezer became too crowded, the dogs were illegally buried in the nearby mountains. Initially estimating around 800 dogs at the site, we were ultimately astounded to discover a staggering total of 1,426 dogs. Fortunately, the dedicated efforts of approximately 20 fellow organizations who swiftly offered their assistance, volunteers from across the country, various government agencies, and the cooperation of Gyeonggi-do provided invaluable support for the rescue mission. Together, we achieved an unprecedented miracle by saving all the abused dogs. After being rescued, #weact_brin gave birth to #weact_avo, #weact_cado, #weact_nacho, and #weact_moly at The Home.

Personality
Brave Moly resembles The Incredibles' Jack-Jack, almost as if she's wearing goggles. With a distinctive appearance that seems to conquer the rush hour, she eagerly awaits at home, bouncing around and saying, 'Come home quickly and play with me!¡¯¡± As one of #weact_brin¡¯s puppies, Moly is the bravest, always approaching anyone she meets first. After showing her plump, pink belly, she lies down to invite to play. Then, she gets up again and wags her tail enthusiastically. With insatiable curiosity, Moly roams around, welcoming everything new. As she approaches both risky and non-risky things without discrimination, always keep a close eye on her. Recently, she's been captivated by the taste of sweet potatoes. Be sure to introduce her to the many other delightful experiences the world has to offer!

With humans
Moly is friendly to everyone she meets. Although she hasn't met children yet, she is adaptable and can get along well. She tends to want to go anywhere when she sees people, so she might try to escape from fences or barriers. Please keep a close eye on Moly to ensure she stays out of danger.

With dogs
When Moly meets friends, she becomes lively and excited. However, as she is still a puppy, please carefully monitor her interactions with adult dogs to prevent any risky situations.

With cats
Moly hasn't met or lived with cats before.

Energy level
Moly is busy growing and diligently explores and experiences each day by chewing and tasting. Full of energy and fond of friends, she loves playful activities and enjoys chewing on various things due to itchy gums. As Moly is quite energetic, once walks are possible, please take her out at least twice a day to let her expend her energy positively.

Shedding/Barking
Moly barks and may even cry when she sees people in front of the fence. She doesn't shed much.

Needs help with
Moly is agile, but she freezes when she feels tension on the leash. After completing her vaccinations and leash training, be sure to take her for walks. As a puppy, starting formal training can be challenging. Please gradually guide her with manners, focused training, recall, and strategies to manage excitement as needed, adapting to her growth. Seeing Moly use potty pads even during play suggests that she might soon master potty training.

Health specifics
Moly is growing up healthy, but she has hernia, requiring careful medical attention. As she¡¯s still growing, please monitor her physical changes to ensure appropriate growth according to her age.

Ideal family
At almost three months old, Moly is in a crucial growth period, so it would be ideal to have a family member at home for most of the time. Moly, fueled by curiosity, will thrive under a guardian providing affectionate guidance for her growth. As she's still learning what's allowed and what's not, please be patient with her and engage her with suitable toys and playtime to support her healthy development. Since she hasn't had extensive grooming or baths, introduce new experiences slowly to prevent fear and provide rewards to associate them with joy. Moly, having received warm care since birth, will adapt well to any home due to her friendliness with people and other dogs. Whether as an only pet or with a compatible companion, she'll fit in seamlessly. Having just begun her adventures, Moly is waiting for a lifelong family who will securely watch over her.
