Rescue story
WEACT received a report that dogs were being neglected in a shed in Mungyeong. The previous owner was ignorant of the importance of sterilization and failed to provide proper care. Due to uncontrolled breeding, there was overpopulation. The dogs were standing in their own feces, barely surviving on contaminated water and food. It took three separate trips to rescue a total of 48 dogs, and #weact_titi was one of the survivors to finally take a step outside the dreadful shed.


Personality
Can you wait for me to warm up to you?

Our sweet Titi adores people, but she also harbors fear due to the pain she experienced before being rescued. Instead of approaching strangers right away, she takes her time to ponder and hesitate. During this period, we kindly ask for your patience as she opens up at her own pace. Once Titi feels comfortable with you, why not embark on a delightful walk together? You will be impressed by her impeccable walking manners, and you can all enjoy the flowers, butterflies, and scent of the wind together. Titi gets along well with other dogs, regardless of their gender, age, or size. She is very considerate and willingly shares her toys during playtime. While she cherishes her time with dog friends, her unwavering priority is always her family. We hope you can spend a day filled with love and affection with Titi.


With humans
Titi has deep affection for people but also fears them. If you meet her for the first time, please wait for her to warm up rather than approaching first. Over time, she will gradually open up and get closer.


With dogs
Titi gets along well with other dogs regardless of size, gender, or age, but she isn’t the type to actively engage in play with them. If she’s curious about something, she may walk over to her dog friends, but she finds even greater joy in spending time with her family.


With cats
Titi has never met a cat.


Energy level
Please take Titi for a walk twice a day, in the morning and evening, as she enjoys walks. Since she hasn't experienced many things yet, if you provide her with various experiences, Titi will be able to explore the world more actively.


Shedding/Barking
Titi sheds and barks when she sees motorcycles approaching in her direction during walks. She tends to rely heavily on her trusted guardian and may exhibit demand barking towards them.


Needs help with
While Titi doesn’t have any aversion to crates, she has a great fear of doors closing. If the door is closed while she’s inside the crate, she may become very stressed and bark. Please provide desensitization training to help her feel comfortable even when the door is closed. Titi, who loves those she's close to and deeply trusts, may struggle with brief separations from her family. Training to help her understand that her family always returns can help. When Titi opens her heart to someone, she wants to be with them all the time, which can lead to separation anxiety. Therefore, during training, actively offer praise and affection. At other times, provide Titi with her own space to foster independence.


Health specifics
Titi gave birth to #weact_tigger and #weact_tiara and produces a lot of tears. She is currently in good health, but there is a possibility of developing eye-related conditions due to excessive tear production in the future. Please ensure to provide appropriate care for her.


Ideal family
Since Titi approaches and relies solely on her trusted guardian, it would be better for a small family to provide her with focused love and attention, rather than a large family. Prior to her rescue, she endured a prolonged period in cramped and deprived conditions with limited human interaction. However, she deeply appreciates patient individuals who wait for her to open up and show her affectionate nature. While Titi gets along well with other dogs, she truly cherishes the moments spent in the warm embrace of her family. We hope her new family can dedicate ample time to her and support her as she embarks on new experiences. Titi has endured the hardships of pregnancy and protected her babies with unwavering love. Now, we hope she can be the cherished baby in her new family, experiencing days filled with happiness. Titi is searching for a lifelong family who is patient, dedicated, and ready to love her.
