Rescue story
After receiving a tip about five abandoned dogs and the remains of another, WEACT went to a breeding facility in Ilpae-dong, Namyangju. It had been two years since our last visit, but the place appeared frozen in time, hardly different from before. The dogs' lives hadn't improved at all, suffering from neglect as the local authorities turned a blind eye. They were left to scavenge for food in constant hunger and forced into continuous breeding and birthing cycles. When the breeder became aware of our rescue attempt, he tried to secretly relocate the dogs under the cover of night. During this process, we also discovered and saved additional mother dogs and their pups hidden in nearby vacant lots, neighboring yards, and even inside homes. Thanks to the assistance of Namyangju Agricultural Technology Center officials, we were able to persuade the unscrupulous breeder to relinquish ownership. With support from the KK9 organization, we successfully rescued all the dogs under the breeder's care. Among them was #weact_soda, who was pregnant at the time and gave birth to #weact_namoo, #weact_mua, #weact_ami, #weact_mita, and #weact_tabel.


Personality
Among his brothers, Tabel is the largest in size. He resembles a polar bear with white fur and three black dots on his face. Don't be fooled by his imposing appearance; he's quite the character! He adores people so much that if separated, even for a short while, he will vocalize his strong desire for attention. He constantly urges, 'Why are you leaving me? I want to go out! Play with me! Now!' Tabel has learned to play joyfully while spending time with his mom, #weact_soda, and his brothers, engaging in activities like climbing on each other, playfully nipping, and enthusiastically roughhousing. He has good athletic ability and tries to escape from the puppy pen. This little polar bear approaches everything with curiosity and enthusiasm, so please join him in experiencing all his firsts!


With humans
Tabel has had a happy life since birth, which has made him very comfortable around people. Currently, he doesn't differentiate between males, females, and children.


With dogs
Tabel has not met any other dogs besides his siblings. Since he's still undergoing vaccinations, it would be great to provide him with opportunities to go on walks and meet other dogs once they're complete.


With cats
Tabel hasn't met or lived with cats before.


Energy level
Tabel enjoys playing non-stop from morning to night, so please provide a variety of indoor activities, such as sniffing exercises and toys. It's also important to take him on walks to allow him to expend his energy.


Shedding/Barking
Tabel sheds and barks incessantly when he can't see people, asking to be taken with them.


Needs help with
As everything is new to Tabel, he needs to learn every aspect of home life. Please educate him about sleeping hours, morning routines, taking walks, playing with toys, and potty training according to your family's patterns. Frequent potty breaks are natural at his age, so please be patient and gentle in teaching him.


Health specifics
Tabel has a small hernia in his abdomen, but otherwise, he is healthy.

Tabel is a strong and spirited puppy, brimming with energy and a desire for various activities. Whether he's seeking attention, craving delicious food, or longing for playtime, Tabel is proactive in expressing his desires. He is still growing, and adopting him requires a sense of responsibility that extends into his senior years. It's crucial to understand that during the puppy stage, all dogs need a lot of attention, care, and love. This is the time to bond with him and create wonderful family memories. A family that can spend ample time with Tabel is an ideal match, as he's active and may not be a good fit for a very calm and quiet home. Tabel is eagerly awaiting his lifelong family to share all his firsts.
