Rescue story
After receiving a tip about five abandoned dogs and the remains of another, WEACT went to a breeding facility in Ilpae-dong, Namyangju. It had been two years since our last visit, but the place appeared frozen in time, hardly different from before. The dogs' lives hadn't improved at all, suffering from neglect as the local authorities turned a blind eye. They were left to scavenge for food in constant hunger and forced into continuous breeding and birthing cycles. When the breeder became aware of our rescue attempt, he tried to secretly relocate the dogs under the cover of night. During this process, we also discovered and saved additional mother dogs and their pups hidden in nearby vacant lots, neighboring yards, and even inside homes. Through persistent persuasion and negotiation, we finally convinced the unscrupulous breeder to give up ownership. With the assistance of the KK9 organization, we successfully rescued all the dogs in the breeder¡¯s possession. Among them was #weact_sena, who was finally able to escape the harrowing world of a breeding operation driven by human green and embrace a new life.

Personality
Sena enjoys unleashing her mischievousness, a trait nestled within her fluffy fur. Ever since emerging from the narrow confines of her kennel, her curiosity about the world has blossomed. Her days now form a canvas adorned with vivid experiences she once missed, as she absorbs the world through watchful eyes and an inquisitive nose. Sena relishes the freedom to roam and wears her brightest smiles when playing with other dogs. Providing frequent opportunities for her to spend time with friends would be wonderful. While Sena exudes an aura of cheerfulness and a seemingly carefree demeanor, sudden movements still startle her. Therefore, approach her slowly at first.

With humans
Sena enjoys being around people, often bouncing with happiness. However, if approached too hastily, she might back up due to her timid nature. Please be mindful of this when getting to know her.

With dogs
Sena is very social and gets along well with other dogs. She enjoys playing with those who have high energy like her, but those that are less active may find her a little overwhelming!

With cats
Sena hasn't met or lived with cats before.

Energy level
Sena seems to have an insatiable appetite for play, even 24 hours a day! She's always on the move, both alone and with friends. Enabling her to engage in a variety of activities and socialize with fellow dogs would be highly beneficial. If Sena doesn't have a positive outlet for her energy, she might become stressed or engage in mischief at home. Dedicate time and effort to providing her with opportunities to channel her energy!

Shedding/Barking
Sena¡¯s has moderate shedding and occasionally barks.

Needs help with
Sena adores spending time with her friends and her guardian so much that she hasn't quite grown accustomed to training yet. Starting slowly with crate and recall training would be beneficial. Many things, including life at home, might seem unfamiliar and intimidating to her, but with her family¡¯s support, she will overcome them. Sena learns quickly, so please offer her enriching experiences that she may not have encountered yet!

Health specifics
Sena is generally in good health, but due to her recovery from Parvo, her immunity requires vigilant monitoring.

Ideal family
Is there a family out there who will adore soaking up Sena's boundless energy and create a joy-filled training environment? Since she's still a young pup, it would be ideal for family members to spend most of their time together. While she gets along well with resident dogs, her high energy and spirited nature might not align with senior dogs. Given her past experience with Parvo, she hopes for a family that will put care into choosing her meals and treats, ensuring they are of the highest quality. Sena is eagerly awaiting that perfect family who will embrace her vitality and craft delightful moments together.
