Nina is a 2-year old female mix rescued from the Gimpo Dog Farm.
Nina is quiet and calm, and seems to prefer a quiet environment. From what we have seen of her character, it might be best if there were no other animals in the home - she seems to prefer having her family all to herself!
Nina absolutely loves everyone she meets. She doesn’t seem particularly interested in children, but she is willing to tolerate them!
With other dogs
Nina does not appear very interested in socializing with other dogs - maybe its because she is a little shy. She does not react to other dogs when they approach her, but she will walk away when she does not want to interact with them.
She’s never been together with cats in the same space, but she didn't show any interest in them when she has has seen them outside.
Her energy level is not very high, but she does enjoy getting outside for a long walk every day or two.
Nina is a long-haired mix, and does shed a lot. She does not do a lot of barking, except when she is startled.
Nina doesn't have any particular issues - her training is going well, and she is learning several commands. But she is still a bit scared of men - she can be very timid around them. However, she is improving, and given enough time and patience she will fit into any family just fine!
Nina had anemia but we are giving her lots of protein, so she's been improving.
