Lucy is a female Jack Russell Terrier puppy, part of the litter that were rescued with their mother Suzy from the illegal breeding farm in Chuncheon
She is still very young, but based on her energy level, she needs a family who can get her outside 2-3 times a day, and give her a lot of exercise. She seems to be fine around people, so a big family would make her quite happy - more people to show off for and demand attention from! Being in a home with other dogs would be also be fine for her.
She hasn't met a lot of friends yet, but she is curious, and seems to get along well when she has had chances to interact outside.
She loves people, and wants to get attention from everyone she meets. She even seems to be happy to see children.
she hasn’t had any chance to interact with cats
She is still a baby, so she takes naps frequently. But her activity level is increasing, she tends to run around inside the house when she is feeling particularly energetic. She still gets tired after 30 minutes of walking, but as she builds up her stamina, one-hour walks are in the near future.
There is a lot of shedding. She doesn’t usually bark, but will sometimes when she is bored and wants your attention.
Needs help with
Keeping her energy level in check - she is fine in the house, but does need an outlet. She is working on her toilet training - indoors she is only making a few mistakes now. Even though she has so much energy, she is learning quickly how to behave on the leash. She still needs work on recall.
She will need extra care for her ears. The hair on her paws grows quickly and needs to be trimmed regularly.
