Kiwi is a Shiba puppy rescued from an illegal breeding farm.
Kiwi would be happy in family with other dogs. He loves people and dogs, and would thrive in a family where he can spend most of his time together. While the typical personality of the Shiba breed is more independent, it seems to be the opposite with Kiwi.
He is learning to socialize very well, and wants to meet all dogs that he encounters when he is outside.
He seems to be more affectionate than a typical Shiba, and to want to be around people all the time.
He has not encountered cats yet, so we do not know how he will react.
Very active both indoors and outside. He doesn’t know what the word ‘tired’ means.
There is some hair loss, even with brushing. He does not bark, but he is not shy about expressing himself - he will vocalize when he needs something or to show his feelings!

Need more callback training. Uses pee pads about 90% of the time - and is mostly accurate!
None - completely healthy. Shiba puppies are especially at risk for patella dislocations, so soft coverings over hard floors might be a good idea!
