Rescue story
WEACT received a report that dogs were being neglected in a shed in Mungyeong. The previous owner was ignorant of the importance of sterilization and failed to provide proper care. Due to uncontrolled breeding, there was overpopulation. The dogs were standing in their own feces, barely surviving on contaminated water and food. It took three separate trips to rescue a total of 50 dogs. #weact_titi gave birth to five pups after being rescued, but only #weact_tigger and #weact_tiara survived. They are learning how the world around them works in their mother¡¯s caring arms.

Personality
Our little Tigger is bright and pure-hearted. Thanks to his mom, #weact_titi, and kind aunts and uncles, he is energetic, full of mischief, and well-socialized. Tigger is affectionate and wants to receive love from everyone; there¡¯s no doubt that he¡¯s an extrovert. He¡¯s known as the social butterfly because he delights in playing with his sister and other dogs. Tigger loves getting belly rubs and wants to be stroked by anyone at any time. In fact, he¡¯ll get upset when people stop petting him. He hasn¡¯t tried treats yet, but we all know that he¡¯s a huge eater. Tigger loves to happily run around and nap on soft, warm cushions or blanket, but he¡¯s also still a pup who needs affectionate care from a forever family.

With humans
¡°No one can be more charming than me!¡± Tigger is a lovely pup who welcomes all human touch and attention. If there is anyone nearby, he¡¯ll go up to them to be petted. He insists on being touched by first whining, then going in between their legs, and finally climbing into their lap to capture their hearts. Tigger is comfortable around both men and women, but he has not yet met any babies or children.

With dogs
Tigger hasn¡¯t met many dogs, but it seems that he¡¯ll easily make friends. He has a lot of interest and affection for his sister, #weact_tiara, asking her to play with his endless energy until she gets annoyed.

With cats
Tigger has never met a cat.

Energy level
Tigger has not gone on walks yet but based on his extroverted nature, we have a hunch that he is going to love it. After eating and resting for 10 minutes each, he has to play for 20 minutes!

Shedding/Barking
Tigger is talkative and likes to bark from time to time. He still has a puppy coat so we¡¯re not too sure of how much he¡¯ll shed.

Needs help with
Tigger is taking things slowly and learning his name first! He will then work on learning commands, such as ¡°house¡± and being potty trained. Because he¡¯s still teething, he¡¯ll try to bite just like any other puppy. It is necessary to teach Tigger bite inhibition, gently but firmly.

Health specifics
Tigger tends to get carsick. He shows signs of hernia and needs to be watched over carefully.

Ideal family
Because Tigger doesn¡¯t like to be alone and craves human touch so much, we hope at least one family member is home to keep him company. He is twice more active and mischievous than his sister, #weact_tiara, and would benefit from going on walks, doing various exercises, and engaging in fun activities. Tigger loves other dogs, so having canine siblings will help him learn manners and release energy while playing together.
